About Me
Greetings! My name is Jimmy Rudolph. I’m a New England-based video editor with more than a decade of experience in post-production, and I love what I do!
"The editor is the final storyteller." — Sally Menke
Editing is about so much more than just assembling the pieces. It’s storytelling. And how you edit your story is arguably the most important step in the filmmaking process. As the old adage goes, a video is born three times: in the writing, in the filming, and finally, in the edit. It’s your last chance to get it right. After all the money, time, and hard work you’ve poured into your project, you deserve a veteran with the appropriate level of passion and dedication to make sure your story is told correctly.
Every video is unique, and that sentiment is at the core of my editing philosophy. With me, you’ll get no cookie-cutter formulas. No “good enough.” I approach each project with a simple question: How can I best tell this story?
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with production companies such as Arnold Worldwide, Animus Studios, Hasbro, and others to answer that question for numerous brands, including LEGO, NERF, Google, Bose, Vertex, FujiFilm, and many more. My work has aired online, on broadcast television, at festivals and galleries, and even on the Jumbotron at Gillette Stadium!
Before I can determine how best to tell your story, though, I need to ask you a question first: “What is your story?” Drop me a line so we can discuss your project. Consultations are free, and there’s nothing I love more than talkin’ story.
